Book Cover: Stories in the Stepmother Tongue

I'm interested in fiction writing, have had stories published widely, am a regular teacher on the creative writing faculty, and have been a recent director of the program. I'm editor of a number of anthologies of fiction, including the Sudden Fiction series and a collection of outstanding immigrant writings called Stories in the Stepmother Tongue; and I've edited various literary journals, including Manoa, which I co-founded with Frank Stewart. Although I've taught mostly workshops, I've also devised and enjoyed teaching reading courses for writers.
