I am interested in nineteenth-century literature (most recently its fantasy), children's literature (especially the relations between text and illustration), and effective ways to foster expository writing and critical thinking skills at all levels.
I am also the contact person for the University's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious academic honorary society in the nation; please feel free to contact me with questions regarding PBK.
