Rodney Morales is the author of When the Shark Bites, a novel (2002), and The Speed of Darkness, a short story collection (1988). He is the editor of a collection of essays, poetry and art titled Ho‘i Ho‘i Hou: a tribute to George Helm and Kimo Mitchell (1984). His stories have been published in numerous journals, and anthologized in Rereading America (Bedford-St. Martins, 1992) and Growing Up Puerto Rican (William Morrow, 1997). He is currently working on a mystery novel.
