This year's Fall Celebration includes two
discussion panels in the afternoon and a reading in the evening
on Thursday, November 13, 2003. The evening reading features
writers Martin Espada, Joy Harjo, Haunani-Kay Trask, and Kathleen
Tyau. These same writers will participate in the discussion panels
along with Tammy Hailiopua Baker, Lee Cataluna, and Victoria Nalani
Kneubuhl, the four playwrights published in He Leo Hou, A New
Voice, a collection by Bamboo Ridge Press.
Linked with the Fall Festival of Writers is the
Bamboo Ridge Press launch of HE
LEO HOU: A New Voice, which takes place on Wednesday, November
12, at 7:30 pm following the 7:00 pm reception, in the Art Auditorium.
