Edwin Torres is an active member of the poetry collective Real Live Poetry (formerly Nuyorican Poets Cafe Live). He has slammed, performed and conducted workshops in many cities, appeared on MTV’s Spoken Word Unplugged, The Charlie Rose Show, and PBS’s United States of Poetry, and been featured in Newsweek, Rolling Stone, and New York Magazine. His work fuses vocal and physical improvisation, sound-elements and visual theater. |
