Leonard Schwartz is the author of Words Before The Articulate: New and Selected Poems (Talisman House) and A Flicker At The Edge of Things: Essays on Poetics (Spuyten Duyvil). He has co-edited two anthologies of contemporary American poetry: Primary Trouble and An Anthology of New American Poets. His poems, essays, and translations have appeared in a wide range of publications, including Cross-Cultural Poetics, Agni, Conjunctions, Harper's, First Intensity, Barrow Street, and The World.
